Now that you have had an introduction to Inspiration software and interactive whiteboards, what do you think? Technology is only as useful as we make it. Consider some creative ways that these technologies could be used in the elementary school classroom and explain them in response to this post. After everyone has had a chance to respond, spend some time reading other’s ideas. Reply to at least two of your peers’ ideas either by adding to them, explaining how you have seen something similar work in a real situation, or asking for clarification about how it might work in the classroom.

So what did the video make you think about? Did anything rub you the wrong way? Do you think the creator had some good points? If so, what are they?

Introduction

Welcome to our class blog. We will use this site to communicate our thoughts and ideas about different topics and issues related to technology and education.
You may have noticed that you each have your name listed under a menu to the right. That is because blogs have been assigned to each of you and today you will be transforming them into your very own pages. You will personalize the style, make an “about me” page and link to some of your favorite educational websites. It is important to know not only how to respond on a blog, but also how to set one up yourself.
It should be fun to learn about each others’ opinions about technology and education.
